Block

(pronunciation: as spelled)

Block China Company produces a range of dinnerware. Some are modern shapes, and some have flowers in a modern presentation. Overall, the designs are light and informal. If I were collecting this company’s production, it would be a creamer from each pattern. There are three or four shapes used for the creamers, and many patterns, but the floral patterns based on the Goertzen watercolors show up extremely well on the creamer.

My opinion: Very nice modern china patterns, but no collectibles per se. You will have to specialize in a pattern or particular type of dish to make up a collection from this manufacturer.
